Welcome

Clevedon Baptist Church is situated in the heart of Clevedon. Our vision is to be Living with a purpose, Loving Jesus and our neighbours and Belonging to a distinctive Christian community. We do this through the many and varied activities of our church, some of which are described below.

If you would like to know more about the church we would love to meet you and chat to you. There is a welcome area in the foyer and someone there will be able to help you and answer any questions you have about CBC.

Our Sunday Worship

Our Sunday morning service runs from 10:30am – 12 noon catering for all ages. Lively music from our worship band, creative drama, multimedia and Bible teaching all have a place in our worship. Children and young people are engaged in the first part of our service and then usually leave to join their own teaching groups. A crèche is provided for under 3s and 3-11 year olds meet in their groups. For young people, ‘Fuel’ meets during the morning service – with games, activites, discussion, prayer and challenges. Meanwhile, Cafe Church takes place in the foyer: enjoy coffee & chat and a TV relay of the main service. Our Sunday sermons are available to stream or download here.

Our Children’s Work

Our children’s groups are run by a dedicated team of leaders in the church. This work is called Juice. On Sunday mornings the children meet in the following groups:
Crush: 0-3 years (crèche)
Zest: 3-7 years
Drench: 7-11 years

There is also a mid-week kids club called Fizz (Reception-Year 6). This meets on Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.There are lots of crafts, games, food activities and lots of fun. For more information contact Anne Owen on our Pastoral Leadership Team.

Our Toddler Group

Noah’s Ark Toddler Group meets every Thursday morning from 10 – 11:30 am and seeks to provide a safe place for children to play and interact in a loving environment. Parents/carers attend with their children and have a chance to chat to each other over coffee. Noah’s Ark is very popular so we operate a waiting list for those wishing to attend.
